  This use to work oky but now it open a lot of database mysql process untile i exceeded the limit of the server, i try to disable the log but it doesn't work i try everything but its seem the script start these process without any use please can you point out where in the script php start database mysql process or did you close the process on that file on not active or not used.

  Sorry but I don't understand your issue. This script has a very minimal use of MySQL. It basically uses it for the admin panel and to store the search queries if enabled. Your issue is broader than the coverage of the script. The script by itself can't modify or access a system process like that. The script uses standard PHP PDO's MySQL driver to communicate with the database and that's it. As you can see no one in the comment section is facing this issue.
  
  I'd recommend you to re-install your server's OS if possible. Or just try a different web hosting.

  Also it could be a configuration issue on how your web server is configured as well. By design, PHP starts everything in a request, then when the request is finished everything is teared down. That's how PHP works. A PHP script doesn't have that level of system access to still keep running.
  For your issue, it's strictly core server side specific, I'd recommend you to re-install the server OS, and reconfigure the server using an expert sysadmin. Or for a clarification, you can use a cheap shared server and you'd see the script is running smoothly.

  PHP PDO's MySQL is a command to establish a database connection and it is up to a PHP code to stop the connection after the query has been executed, which you seem not to agree with. It is common practice and it is a well-known fact. That's why is recommend adding code lines to stop the connection as soon as it is over.
  
  Additionally, am using Cloud plan managed by hostinger, meaning it would not be possible to restart the OS from scratch as it would affect a whole server.
  
  Note that the code itself is working perfectly fine. The main issue is once those connections pile up, they are not being stopped and in turn, limits are exceeded.

  I would suggest optimizing the script and make sure that all of the connections are closed immediately once they are finished. For that we can add mysql_close() to end of the scripts but the issue is i dont know where to add this

  The modern PHP PDO libraries doesn't need to be explicitly. PHP automatically does this for you. If you don't believe me here's the link to the official documentation.

  "If you don't do this explicitly, PHP will automatically close the connection when your script ends."
  
  And on the other end, if the issue was script specific, everyone else would face the issue. If you just browse through the comments no one else is facing the issue.
  
  Also you seem to have mistaken connections with MySQL packets, your MySQL server is at fault here, this is not something I can fix from the script.

  The script doesn't use the mysql_* functions. They are deprecated since PHP 7. The script uses the standard PHP PDO. Which closes the connection automatically when the script ends. Even if you do this manually it won't fix your issue. Because the issue lies within your MySQL server or web server configuration.
  
  Trust me, if this was a script specific issue, I'd try my best to help you. But it's not. As a developer, I know this.

  What about it? The script is written for PHP 7.x. This is mentioned in the the requirements. The mysql_* functions were entirely removed since PHP 7.
  
  This is not something you should be concerned about. If the script didn't close the connections as you say, the comments would be piling about their site having the same issue.
  
  This is not a script issue. If It was I'd be the first to spot it. Please, just switch to another hosting.

  You just don't even try to understand don't you. I'm trying my best to make you understand, PHP automatically closes the connection. PDO is object oriented, the script holds no reference to it. The core PHP PDO extension does. The script simply extends it, and it's garbage collected when the script ends.

  It's simply creating a PDO instance, not holding it in any variable. Because it extends the base PDO class. PHP will automatically close the connection when the script finishes running. But despite my telling, you want me to hold in in a variable, and then destruct it manually which is done by setting the variable to NULL. But it's not storing the instance in a variable.
  
  You don't need to do this. But still for your satisfaction, I've done this. Replace the contents of this paste ( https://pastebin.com/YAqmPf0T ) , in the file:

  You know i appreciate what you done here but i dont know a lot about Mysql and php. I upgrade the script to old library that use 7.4 php to 8.0 maybe this is the cause. And my site have more than 2 Millions page view a month and i log the search

  I don't think the PHP version has anything to do with PDO connections. However, you shouldn't run this script on PHP 8.0. It's written for PHP 7.x only. Use PHP 7.x only.
  
  I suffer from severe ADHD and depression. It's very hard for me to focus. I didn't even do paid work for the last two years due to this. This is perhaps the most time I've spent resolving an issue in the past 6 months, it's very hard for me to focus.
  
  I mean it when I say it, it's not a script specific issue.
  Anyway, my last bit of advice would be, to switch to PHP 7.x and see if that helps the issue. If not, ask your hosting provider about it to see if they can help.

  Also as you log the search that could be the reason to the slowdown. Perhaps your MySQL server is unable to handle that many records. Try deleting the search logs entirely if that helps.

  I bet that has something to do with it. Your MySQL server is simply struggling to manage that much of data. My suggestion would be to clear the entire table. And stop logging the searches.

  There isn't really much to customize apart from CSS. As Google themselves render the results, so you can't really modify much of it.

  Secondly, that's not possible. As the script doesn't use Wikipedia for data. It uses DuckDuckGo Instant Answer API. https://duckduckgo.com/api
  Which doesn't support localization at the moment.

  Strange. I'm using the same PHP version on Apache server, but I can't recreate your issue.
  
  Please download this thumb.php file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qmo4eskuiBfgKD2TOb2Ve3Z4uz6bKiJw/view?usp=sharing
  
  And replace the current thumb.php with it.
  
  And then go to: Dashboard > Settings > Debugging
  
  and enable "Flush Cache" then click Run Actions.

  The site was running smoothly, suddenly it stopped and database belongs to the based search engine consumes high amount of server resources and i activated the dev mode and found the following error.

  Hello. That's a server level error. Your hosting is limiting the amounts of packets MySQL can use. Which is very low as the script barely uses MySQL. My suggestion would be to disable search queries logging for a temporary fix but in a long run I'd recommend you to switch to a better hosting.

  Sorry but it's not about your server. It's about your MySQL server. The script uses very little amount of MySQL. Almost miniscule amount. Hundreds of customers are using it without any issues. After your complaint, I have examined each MySQL queries to determine any issues. But I didn't find any issue with it. My suggestion would be to do a complete re-install of the script and disable search logging entirely.

  You're missing the point. Your error "Packets out of order", if you just Google the error, it would be clear to you that it only occurs when the "MySQL server has gone away". Meaning the MySQL server isn't responding aka it's unable to handle the load. If it was a script specific issues, you would see errors related to the script. The slowdown is occurring because the MySQL server is taking the time to return the data. The script only communicates with MySQL only to fetch the site name, logo etc. And when search logging is enabled it would write the logs. That's it.
  
  This is not a issue of the script. I literally can't make it "go faster". The script needs to perform the queries and the MySQL server needs to respond. The script doesn't decide if it's slow or fast. The script only performs read and write and then outputs the data.
  
  You need to provide more resources to your MySQL server. Not just the web hosting. This is called scaling. If the database is your issue. You need to get a proper VPS and use shrading or replicating to distribute the database load. I'm not a sysadmin and that's not my part of the job.
  
  The script only communicates to the database and outputs the data. It uses all the possible optimization. There is nothing more that I can do that can magically make the script faster. If I could, I would do it, trust me.
